Общероссийская общественная организация Ассоциация ветеранов боевых действий органов внутренних дел и внутренних войск России создана 28 апреля 1992 года. Ассоциация объединяет сотрудников, военнослужащих и пенсионеров системы МВД РФ, принимавших участие в боевых действиях по решению Правительства СССР и РФ. Девиз Ассоциации: «Мы верны присяге и Родине». Главная цель организации ― социальная поддержка и правовая защита ветеранов, инвалидов, участвовавших в боевых действиях на территориях других государств и в вооруженных конфликтах на территории России, а также членов их семей.
Russian public organization Association of war veterans of internal affairs bodies and internal troops of Russia established April 28, 1992. The Association brings together employees, military personnel and retirees of the Interior Ministry, took part in the fighting on the decision of the Government of the USSR and the Russian Federation. The motto of the Association: "We are faithful to the oath and the Motherland." The main purpose of the organization - social support and legal protection of veterans, who participated in the fighting on the territory of other states and in armed conflicts on the territory of Russia, as well as their families.
